How to use the Product Recommendations Tool

Meesho’s new Product Recommendations tool helps by providing product suggestions using customer demand data from across the internet. 

To use the Product Recommendations tool, log onto the Supplier Panel and click on ‘Product Recommendations’ on the left. 

You will find four sections: ‘My Categories’, ‘Other Categories’, ‘Shortlisted’ and ‘Uploaded’. Under ‘My Categories’, you’ll find three subsections: ‘Trending Searches’, ‘Popular Outside Meesho’ and ‘Top Selling’. Let’s dive into each.

• ‘Trending Searches’ - A list of recommendations based on designs that Meesho users are looking for but can’t find a product they like. 
  
• ‘Popular Outside Meesho’ - A list of recommendations based on products that aren’t on Meesho yet but are selling well outside the platform. 
  
• ‘Top Selling’ - A list of product recommendations based on designs that are selling well on Meesho. 
  
• Under ‘Other Categories’, you will find product recommendations from categories that suppliers similar to you also sell on Meesho. 
  
• Under ‘Shortlisted’, all recommendations you have shortlisted from the ‘My Categories’ and ‘Other Categories’ sections reflect here immediately. 
  
• Under ‘Uploaded’, find all catalogs you have created based on the recommendations made by the tool. It has the views & orders data for that catalog as well.

Find an overall performance of catalogs uploaded based on recommendations from the tool in the Insights Dashboard.

We suggest uploading catalogs based on recommendations made by the Product Recommendations tool from the tool itself and not the regular catalog upload section.
